Cookies are small data files that are stored in your Internet Browser by websites for different reasons depending on the website.

• to remember you as a user of a website so you don't need to log in again
• to store your preferences for settings in websites
• by websites or some services to be able to use their features
• by advertisers to show you ads depending on your surfing on the internet

some cookies have normal uses while others can be a danger to your privacy, for example, some individuals can use them to track your uses of the internet and sell your interests and habits for profit.
Therefore, Depending on the websites you use, you might want to disable or enable cookies, and in this guide we explain how.

Enable/Disable Cookies in Chrome:

Open Google Chrome and press the "3 Dots" in the top right then click on "Settings"

In the "Privacy and security" Tab click on "Cookies and other site data"

In the "General settings" section check "Block all cookies"

Done. You have disabled cookies in Chrome.
To enable cookies again, check "Allow all cookies" or "Block third-party cookies in incognito".

Enable/Disable Cookies in Opera:

Open Opera and click on "Menu" then on "Settings"

Click on "Advanced" > "Privacy & security" > "Cookies and other site data"

Check "Block all cookies"

Done. You have disabled cookies in Opera.
To enable cookies again, check "Allow all cookies" or "Block third-party cookies in private mode".

Enable/Disable Cookies in Firefox:

Open Firefox and click on the "3 bars" in the top right then click on "Settings"

Click on "Privacy & Security" then on "Custom" and in the drop menu for "Cookies" click on "All cookies"

Done. You have disabled cookies in Firefox.
To enable cookies again, uncheck "Cookies" in "Custom" or change "Custom" back to "Standard" in the "Privacy & Security" section.

Enable/Disable Cookies in Other Internet Browsers:

For other internet browsers, the option to disable or enable cookies should always be in "Cookies" under "Privacy and Security" in their respective settings as shown above.

Keep in mind that you can block cookies in some websites while allowing them on others in the cookies settings of your browser.
