Introduction

Before jumping to the walkthrough, this segment will showcase characters' differences, game difficulties and some game mechanics (skip to the Walkthrough if you are familiar with the game).

Game Difficulty

There are 3 game difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard
The easier the difficulty the weaker the enemies are and the more Recovery Items, Ammo and Ink Ribbons you will find.
Ink Ribbons are used on Typewriters to save the game.

Characters' differences

• Billy has more Attack Power than Rebecca, therefore, it's better to always use Billy for offence when possible.

• Billy has more HP than Rebecca and using Health Recovery Items on Billy is more effective since healing is based on states;
There are 4 states of health:
Fine (Green), Cautious (Yellow), Cautious (Orange) and Danger (Red).

• Billy has a Lighter as a Personal Item while Rebecca has the Mixing Set.

• Rebecca can mix Herbs for healing while Billy can push Heavy Objects.

Items Management

Unlike other Resident Evil games, there are no Item Boxes where you stock your items in Resident Evil Zero, you can drop any item wherever you want and then pick it when you need it.

Aiming

Aiming is automatic in Resident Evil Zero, but with a moving target, you will only aim at its initial location when you aimed;
Keep pressing "Q" while aiming to keep your aim on the target.

"Q" is used to switch between targets while aiming, if there is only one target you will keep locking on it.

Moving Characters Simultaneously

It is possible to move both characters at the same time;
Use W A S D for the main character and the Arrows for the second character;
This can be very useful for running away from enemies.

Partner Behavior

Solo/Team:
You can choose whether you move Solo or have your partner follow you.
You do so by pressing "E".

Attack/Idle:
You can choose whether your partner should attack in presence of an enemy or not. (your partner needs to have a weapon equipped)

Press "C" to open the Inventory then click on "Partner" to change the settings.
