Papers, Please has 20 Endings;

Every time you get an ending, its square gets lit in the Story Mode menu

Below are all the endings and how to get them.

Endings

Ending 01

Sleep with a negative balance in your account.

Just make a lot of mistakes to get penalties until you have no money to pay rent.

Ending 02

Your family dies.

Don't pay for food and heat until all the members of your family die.

Ending 03

On Day 12, the M.O.I investigator comes to ask you about EZIC. When he asks you to return his badge and paper, give him one of the EZIC sheets.

You also get the Achievement "Too Honest" along with this ending.

Ending 04

At the end of Day 11, take the 1000 that Ezic gives you, the money will then get confiscated and you will get investigated.

On Day 14, the Ezic agent will come to tell you to let another agent get in to fix the problem, Do NOT let them in and you will get this ending the next day.

The Ezic agent name is Mikhail Saratov or Stepheni Graire.

Ending 05

Shoot any civilian (black figure) with the gun (unlocked with the silver key).

You get the silver key from the Ezic agent on Day 23 and you can use it when someone jumps over the border wall.

Ending 06

Shoot any civilian (black figure) with the tranquilizer (unlocked with the golden key).

You get the golden key on Day 16 and you can use it when someone jumps over the border wall.

Ending 07

Shoot any officer (blue figure) with the gun (unlocked with the silver key).

You get the silver key from the Ezic agent on Day 23 and you can use it when someone jumps over the border wall.

Ending 08

Shoot any officer (blue figure) with the tranquilizer (unlocked with the golden key).

You get the golden key on Day 16 and you can use it when someone jumps over the border wall.

Ending 09

On Day 23, kill the man in red using the gun (unlocked with the silver key).

Ending 10

On Day 23, shoot the man in red with the tranquilizer (unlocked with the golden key).

Ending 11

Hang any item on your wall and get caught by your supervisor twice (Day 20 and Day 30).

Items can be:
• your son drawing if you bought him a gift for his birthday,
• the football banner that you get on day 13 and,
• the family picture that your wife finds at the end of day 29.

Ending 12

On Day 25, detain your supervisor's friend, Shae Piersouska, by finding the discrepancy in her papers.

Ending 13

While never helping Ezic, let the border wall break on the last day.

Only shoot the bottom guy while letting the other Ezic agent plant the explosives and detonate them.

Ending 14

Complete 4 to 5 Ezic tasks but shoot both Ezic agents on the last day to protect the border wall.

Ending 15

While helping Ezic, let the border wall break but shoot the bottom Ezic agent.

Ending 16

Escape to Obristan by yourself or with some family members (but not all).

Ending 17

Complete 1 to 3 Ezic tasks and protect the border wall on the last day (shoot both ezic agents).

Ending 18

Escape to Obristan with all the members of your family (even if you didn't adopt your niece).

You will need to confiscate an obristan passport and pay 25 per member including yourself.

You get the Achievement "Snowier Pastures" along with this ending.

Ending 19

Complete all Ezic tasks and let them break the border wall on the last day.

You also get the Achievement "Member of the Order" along with this ending.

Ending 20

Never help Ezic and work dutifully.

(Shoot both Ezic agents on the last day)

You will also get the Achievement "Glory to Arstotzka" and you get the code to unlock Endless Mode.
