A Cargo Warehouse is one of the properties in GTA Online related to your Office that can be managed as a business called Special Cargo to make income;
It can only be managed as CEO.

In this guide, we will explain what is the best location for it, how to buy one, how to make money through it and how much money you can make.
There will also be answers to questions related to this business at the end of the guide.

Best Cargo Warehouse Location

There are 3 sizes for Cargo Warehouses: Small, Medium and Large;
You only need one Cargo Warehouse to start the Special Cargo business, therefore, it is better to only purchase a large one.

All Large Cargo Warehouses are the same, they're just located differently;
We are going to choose the best location based on:

• The distance between the Cargo Warehouse and your Office;
• The distance between the Cargo Warehouse and cargo recovery points;
• The distance between the Cargo Warehouse and stock selling points;

With all that in mind, our winner is the Darnell Bros Warehouse

Taking it you have chosen the location of the Office that we recommended which is the Arcadius Office, this warehouse is the closest to it, plus, it is the closest to any cargo recovery point being nearly at the center of the city.

Know that only one large Cargo Warehouse is enough and there is no need to purchase a second one.

How to Buy a Cargo Warehouse

Once you buy an Office, you will be able to purchase a Cargo Warehouse.

First, interact with the computer in your Office

Click on "Special Cargo"

Filter the results to only show large warehouses then choose a location and Buy the Warehouse

Congratulations, you have bought a Cargo Warehouse, you can also buy 4 more if you wish but it is not recommended.

Starting the business

To start making income through this business you will need to source Cargo and take it to your warehouse then sell it from there.
To source cargo, access the computer in your Office and click on "Special Cargo"

Click on "Warehouse Map" then click on your Warehouse and launch one of the missions to source cargo

The missions are:
• Source 1 crate for $2,000;
• Source 2 crates for $8,000;
• Source 3 crates for $18,000;

The missions consist of recovering the goods and delivering them to your Cargo Warehouse;

The difference between a 1 crate mission and a 3 crates mission is time and profit;
For example, if you do 1 crate missions 3 times, you will get 3 crates for $6,000 worth $36,000, therefore, $30,000 of profit but, it will take you more time to fill your warehouse;
In the other hand, if you do a 3 crates mission, you will get 3 crates for $18,000 worth $36,000, therefore, $18,000 of profit but, you will fill your warehouse faster and get to sell faster.

Keep in mind, the more Cargo you hold in your warehouse to sell in batch the more profit you will make.
What we advice is doing only 3 crates missions and selling when the warehouse is full.

If you are playing solo, some 3 crates missions will require you to go back and forth from the crates location and your warehouse because you can only carry one crate at a time.

After completing a mission, you need to wait a few minutes before launching another one.

Additionally,

You can pay the staff in your warehouse $7,000 to source 1 crate of goods by talking to them;
Once paid, they will leave the warehouse and you will get a notification when they return with a cargo.

Special Items:

Sometimes, you will get a call from your secretary informing you that it is possible to acquire a Special Item that costs more but gets you more profit;
Simply buy the Special Item like buying normal crates and deliver it to your warehouse.

Selling Cargo:

To sell Cargo, access the computer in your Cargo Warehouse

"Sell" all the crates to make the most money

Now deliver the crates using the vehicle provided and protect the goods from attackers and once delivered, you will get paid.

Selling Special Items

Same as selling cargo, you sell Special Items using the computer in the Cargo Warehouse;
They are sold separately from normal cargo.

Delivery Vehicles Upgrades:

You can upgrade the vehicles you use to deliver the crates by interacting with the vehicles blueprints in your Cargo Warehouse;

The vehicles are: Truck, Plane and Boat;
You can add Armor and Bulletproof Tires to the Truck, Armor and Jammer to the Plane and Armor and Speed Boost to the Boat.

If you have multiple Cargo Warehouses, you only need to purchase the upgrades in one of them and you will get the same upgrades in the other Cargo Warehouses.

Special Cargo Income:

The profit of this business is around $150,000 for an hour of gameplay while playing Solo or with associates;
(Associates can help you deliver the goods faster if there are multiple vehicles to deliver but it is also possible to deliver them solo)

Keep in mind, the more Cargo you hold in your warehouse the more profit you will make, this amount of profit was made after just one hour of gameplay.

Questions and Answers

Is Buying a Cargo Warehouse Worth It?

No, the income of this business is too low for the time it takes to run it.

The best way to make money as of now is by doing the Cayo Perico Heist where you will make more than 1 million per run but, you will need to buy the $2.2 million Submarine first.

The second best way to make money is to run the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid with the help of Vincent; this will make you $500,000 per run. Go to "V" on the map to start preparing for the raid.

Public Session or Private Session

If you start the mission to sell your cargo while playing in a Public Session, a signal will be sent to all players in the session showing your location on the map;

The player that destroys your delivery vehicle(s) will be awarded some money and RP.

To avoid risking to lose all your cargo, launch the mission in an Invite Only Session or a Closed Friend Session and you will only deal with the AI.

Here is how to get in a Private Session:
Press "Escape" then click on "Online" >
"Find New Session" >
"Closed Friend Session" or "Invite Only Session".

Can I Change the Location of my Cargo Warehouse?

Yes, just access the computer in your Office and purchase the one you want by trading the one you own (you won't need to pay full price for the new one);

The Cargo Warehouse needs to be empty and have the same size as the new one for you to be able to trade it.

You won't lose any upgrades you have purchased for the delivery vehicles when you trade for the new Cargo Warehouse.

Can I Sell my Cargo Warehouse?

Sadly, there is no way to sell a Cargo Warehouse once bought, you can only trade it for another one with the same size.
