(Uses, Income, Best Location and How To Buy)

A Facility is a purchasable property in GTA Online that is used as a base to prepare for the Doomsday heist.
It can be managed as VIP, CEO or MC President.

In this guide, we will explain what are its uses, what is the best location for it, how to buy one and how to start preparing for the Doomsday heist in it.
There will also be answers to questions related to this property at the end of the guide.

Facility Uses and Income

Once you buy a Facility, you will be able to:
• Start preparing for the Doomsday heist;
• Store your Avenger.

1- Doomsday Heist:

To start preparing for the Doomsday heist, use the planning screen in the Facility

Doing the Doomsday heist is the only way to make income using the Facility.

2- Avenger:

You can purchase the Avenger from Warstock;

The Avenger is used:
• As a Vehicle Workshop for cars and motorcycles;
• As a Weapon Workshop to Upgrade Guns.

The interior of the Avenger can be customized through Warstock while the exterior can be customized with the help of the mechanic in your Facility.

The Avenger can be requested using the Interaction Menu (M on Keyboard) in the Services section.

Best Facility Location

All Facilities have the same features, they're just located differently;

We are going to choose the best location based on the distance between the Facility and Doomsday heist preparation missions destination points and accessibility.

With that in mind, we end up with the Ron Alternates Wind Farm Facility as the best one;

It is the closest to Los Santos for the Doomsday heist preparation missions points and you can easily access it by going off-road and up the hill.

How to Buy a Facility

You use the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website to buy a Facility;

Using your phone, go to Internet

Click on the "Money and Services" tab

Click on Foreclosures Maze-Bank

Filter the results to only show Facilities then select the Facility of your choice and click BUY

A menu where you can customize your Facility will show up;

Orbital Canon is not necessary unless you want to complete the "Orbital Obliteration" Achievement.

Security Room will add a Gun Locker and access to Strike Team services that you can use to send mercenaries to kill another player.
A Gun Locker is used to customize your Weapon Wheel by showing weapons and hiding others so you can access a specific weapon faster without scrolling too much to find it.
Most properties and some service vehicles have the option to add it and you only need one.
A Mobile Operations Center is a good choice to have a Gun Locker in since you can spawn it near you wherever you are.

As for the strike Team, they can be easily killed by the target;
Therefore, no need to add a Security Room.

Lounge is just a recreation room with no benefits.

Sleeping Quarters' purpose is to make it possible to spawn in your Facility through the Interaction Menu when you enter a new session.

Everything else is just to customize the interior of your Facility.

You can always renovate your Facility after buying it by going on the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website and selecting your Facility.

When you finish, Click BUY

Congratulations, now go to your Facility and start planning for the Doomsday heist.

Questions and Answers

Is Buying a Facility Worth It?

The Facility purpose is to prepare for the Doomsday heist, therefore, only buy it if you have enough money;
If not, the best way to make money as of now is by doing the Cayo Perico Heist where you will make more than 1 million per run but, you will need to buy the $2.2 million Submarine first.

The second best way to make money is to run the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid with the help of Vincent; this will make you $500,000 per run. Go to "V" on the map to start preparing for the raid.

Public Session or Private Session

To avoid getting attacked by other players while doing a Facility mission (heist prep mission), launch it in an Invite Only Session or a Closed Friend Session so you only deal with the AI.

Here is how to get in a Private Session:
Press "Escape" then click on "Online" >
"Find New Session" >
"Closed Friend Session" or "Invite Only Session".

Can I Change the Location of my Facility?

Yes, just access the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website as shown above and purchase the one you want by trading the one you own (you won't need to pay full price for the new one);

Keep in mind that you will need to re-purchase Facility add-ons (Sleeping Quarters, Interior Decor, Orbital Cannon...etc).

But you will keep:
• purchased Avenger;
• Doomsday heist prep progress.

Can I Sell my Facility?

No, there is no way to sell a Facility once bought, you can only trade it for another one.

Is Buying an Avenger Worth It?

Not really, the Avenger can come with a Weapon Workshop and a Vehicle Workshop if you add them when buying it, same as the Mobile Operations Center, therefore, if you didn't purchase the Mobile Operations Center, you're better off buying it since it's way cheaper and easily accessible.
