An Auto-Shop is one of the properties in GTA Online that can be managed as a business to make income.
It can be managed as VIP, CEO or MC President.

In this guide, we will explain what are its uses, what is the best location for it, how to buy one and how to make money through it.
There will also be answers to questions related to this property at the end of the guide.

Auto-Shop Uses and Income

Once you buy an Auto-Shop, you will be able to:
• Take Auto-Shop Contracts;
• Run a legitimate auto-shop business;
• Steal and Export Exotic cars.

1- Auto-Shop Contracts

After bringing Sassanta her ride, you will be able to take contracts provided by her and KDJ;
Just check the Job Board in the Auto-Shop to take one

An Auto-Shop contract is executed like a heist; you will prepare for it then launch it solo or with other players.

2- Auto-Shop Legitimate Business

You will be able to modify customers' cars to their specifications then deliver them with the least damage;

You get paid once you complete the delivery.

You can also ask your staff to deliver the cars after you modify them;
The staff is hired when you are buying or renovating the Auto-Shop.

Your staff will always deal damage to the cars making you less money so keep that in mind.

3- Exotic Cars Exports

While roaming the map in freemode, check your radar for a blue dot that might be an Exotic Car that you can take to the docks and receive a small payout for it.

Once you get in the car, open your map and double click the docks icon to set a waypoint

There are 10 exotic cars you can export each in-game day; the list is on the black board in your Auto-Shop.

Best Auto-Shop Location

All Auto-Shops have the same features, they're just located differently;

We are going to choose the best location based on the distance between the Auto-Shop and Contracts missions destination points and accessibility.

With that in mind, our winner is the Strawberry Auto-Shop

The highest paying contract in an Auto-Shop is the Union Depository one, and its preparation missions destination points are the closest to the Strawberry Auto-Shop, plus, since this Auto-Shop is at the center of Los Santos, it will be faster to deliver cars to any delivery point.

How to Buy an Auto-Shop

You use the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website to buy an Auto-Shop;

Using your phone, go to Internet

Click on the "Money and Services" tab

Click on Foreclosures Maze-Bank

Filter the results to only show Auto-Shops then select the Auto-Shop of your choice and click BUY

A menu where you can customize your Auto-Shop will show up;

Staff can help you deliver vehicles after you customize them.

In Extras, Personal Quarters' purpose is to make it possible to spawn in your Auto-shop through the Interaction Menu when you enter a new session, it also comes with a Gun Locker which is used to customize your Weapon Wheel by showing weapons and hiding others so you can access a specific weapon faster without scrolling too much to find it.

Purchase a second Car Lift to be able to modify 2 customers' cars.

Buy a Membership to have access to LS Car Meet up.

Everything else is just to customize the interior of your Auto-Shop.

You can always renovate your Auto-Shop after buying it by going on the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website and selecting your Auto-Shop.

When you finish, Click BUY

Congratulations, now go meet Sassanta and KDJ and start your Auto-Shop Business.

Questions and Answers

Is Buying an Auto-Shop Worth It?

Not really, the best way to make money as of now is by doing the Cayo Perico Heist where you will make more than 1 million per run but, you will need to buy the $2.2 million Submarine first.

The second best way to make money is to run the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid with the help of Vincent; this will make you $500,000 per run. Go to "V" on the map to start preparing for the raid.

You can try the Auto-Shop business for fun after getting enough money.

Public Session or Private Session

To avoid getting attacked by other players while doing an Auto-Shop mission, launch it in an Invite Only Session or a Closed Friend Session so you only deal with the AI.

Here is how to get in a Private Session:
Press "Escape" then click on "Online" >
"Find New Session" >
"Closed Friend Session" or "Invite Only Session".

Can I Change the Location of my Auto-Shop?

Yes, just access the Foreclosures Maze-Bank website as shown above and purchase the one you want by trading the one you own (you won't need to pay full price for the new one);

Keep in mind that you will need to re-purchase most Auto-Shop add-ons (Interior Decor, Staff, Extras).

Can I Sell my Auto-Shop?

No, there is no way to sell an Auto-Shop once bought, you can only trade it for another one.
