Letter Scraps Locations and Reward
in GTA 5 Story Mode

Letter Scraps are 50 Collectibles in GTA 5 Story Mode.
You will need to collect the 50 scraps in order to solve the mystery of Leonora Johnson's death.

The best way to collect the scraps efficiently is by using the Bazzard Helicopter since it's the fastest helicopter in Story Mode.

You can buy it from "Warstock Cache & Carry" for $2,000,000 by using your phone while owning a Helipad.

Collecting the 50 Letter Scraps is a requirement to achieve 100% Game Completion.

All of them are pretty straight forward to pick up except...

Letter Scrap #7

To get to this letter scrap, you need to first enter the metro tunnel in this location:

and then continue to the scrap location on the map.

If you forgot what scraps you already picked up, you can use this Social Club link while logged into your account:
socialclub.rockstargames.com/../checklist
Scroll all the way to the bottom and use the Interactive Map.

Uncheck:
- Strangers and Freaks
- Random Events
- Spaceship Parts
and leave "Letter Scraps" checked, then click on "Not Found" to show the letter scraps you still didn't pick up.

Zoom in for a more accurate view.

Reward:

After collecting the 50 Letter Scraps you can read about the identity of Leonora Johnson's killer, go to his house as Franklin and confront him. After the cutscene, chase him and take him out or let him go.

As a reward you get the Achievement "A Mystery, Solved" and you complete one of the requirements to achieve 100% Game Completion.
