Best Approach: Smart (more money)

Best Crew:
Driver: Karim Denz (8%)
Gunman: Packie McReary (12%)
Hacker: Rickie Lukens (4%)

Why this is the best crew for this job:
1- The driver:
Karim is the cheapest driver and will make the wrong choice of bikes, but you can deal with that for more money.

2- The gunman:
You cannot choose Norm Richards (cheapest gunman) since he will crash before entering the tunnel. you can pick up his dropped loot but you would still pay for casualty expenses (which is close to his cut).

Choosing him will also lower how much money you can get (4.5 mil rather than 4.9 mil) since he's probably not picking everything when breaking the cabinets glass.

With that in mind, you will have to go with the second cheapest which is Packie McReary (12%).

McReary can only become a crew member option if you meet him early in the game before starting to prepare for the heist.
Here is our Guide on where to find him and all other heist crew members.

3- The hacker:
Rickie Lukens is the cheapest hacker (4%) and will give you enough time to get everything, plus, it's better to have him gain skills since he's going to be your hacker whenever you need him.
Wait for his call while playing as Michael before starting to prepare for the heist so he can become a possible crew member.

Know that a crew member's cut doesn't change even if they level up.

Cuts:
Take: $4,946,153
Madrazo: $2,500,000
Michael: $1,223,073
Franklin: $293,539
Lester: $342,462
Others (3): $587,079

The Merryweather Heist

You do not make any money doing this heist and you do not need to choose crew members.

Approach:
There are two approaches, Container Ship (Freighter) or whatever is Offshore.

If you choose the Offshore Approach, you will need to acquire a Cargobob on top of the Submarine. Both heist preparation and the heist itself take more time to complete but it's an opportunity to have Michael learn how to fly.
This way is also more interesting.

But, if you just want to quickly progress the story, then go with the Freighter Approach as it takes less time to complete.

Blitz Play

You also don't make any money doing this score.
There is only one approach and you do not need to choose crew members.

The Paleto Score

There is only one approach and you only need a gunman.

Best Gunman: Packie McReary (12%) or Chef (12%)

Why McReary or Chef:
If you choose Norm Richards, he gets crashed by a police car. You can pick up his loot but again you will pay for casualty expenses and you will just get a couple thousands on top of your cuts, therefore, it is better to choose someone that won't die and that would enhance their skills, and that would be Chef or McReary.

To get Chef as a possible crew member, wait for his text while playing as Trevor before starting to prepare for the heist.

Cuts:
With this heist, you drop some money whenever you take damage, below is an example of the cuts if the dropped money is $28,964.

Take: $8,016,020
Money Dropped: $28,964
FIB: $6,229,903
Michael: $445,145
Franklin: $445,145
Trevor: $445,145
Lester: $210,859
Chef or McReary: $210,859

The Bureau Raid

Only Franklin gets money from this job.

Best Approach: Roof Entry (more money and is more interesting)

Best Crew:
Hacker: Rickie Lukens (4%)
Gunman: Norm Richards (7%)
Driver: Taliana Martinez (5%)

Why this is the best crew for this job:
1- The Hacker:
Rickie is the cheapest and is enough for the job.
2- The Gunman:
You don't need a good gunman for this so you can go with Norm since he's the cheapest and won't die on you, plus, he will get some experience since you're going to use him again.
3- The Driver:
Taliana is the best driver you can get in the game, plus, she has the lowest cut out of all drivers, you cannot make a better choice.
To get Taliana as a possible crew member, you need to meet her in a random event, more on where to find her in this Guide on Crew Members.

Cuts:
FIB Budget: $331,985
Michael: $0
Franklin: $239,027
Lester: $39,839
Others (3): $53,119

The Big Score

Best Approach: Obvious (more money)

Best Crew:
Driver 1: Taliana Martinez (5%)
Driver 2: Karim Denz (8%)
Gunman 1: Cheap gunman (will go with Franklin)
Gunman 2: Another cheap gunman (will go with Michael so you can pick his biggest fan, Norm Richard (7%))

Why this is the best crew for this job:
1- The drivers:
Driver N°1 needs to be a good driver since they will pick up half the score using the helicopter, this should be Taliana's job.
If you don't choose a good driver, you lose half the score as they crash along the way.
Driver N°2 doesn't need to be good since they will just drive the train so Karim is enough.

2- The gunmen:
Pick the cheapest two gunmen available since you can do most of the shooting by yourself.

Cuts:
Take: $201,600,000
Michael: Over 40 million
Franklin: Over 40 million
Trevor: Over 40 million
Lester: Over 20 million
Others (4): Over 50 million
