How to Buy a Boat
GTA V Story Mode

To buy a Boat in GTA 5 Story Mode, you need to first own a Slip as the character you want to buy the boat for;

Franklin, Michael and Trevor all need to buy a Slip each from Puerto del Sol Marina.

To buy a Slip, simply go to Puerto del Sol Marina location on the map and interact with the Sign next to it.

After purchasing the Slip, you will use your Phone to buy a boat, so bring it out and go to "Internet"

Click on "Travel and Transport"

The only website that you can use to purchase boats is "DockTease"

Click on the website and choose the boat you want; you can also Sort the Vehicles by price using the button on top.

Click on "Buy it Now"

You have purchased the boat; after a few in-game hours, you will receive a mail from DockTease informing you that your boat has been delivered to your slip (You can sleep to fast forward time).

Go to your slip and get your new boat.
Your Slip will only have one boat ready to ride, if you have purchased multiple boats, switch between them by pressing the interact button ("E") near the slip.

If you destroy your boat, you can always go back to your Slip and get the same one without paying a cent.
