Changing Your License Plate Number Without Mods in Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator

In Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator, it is possible to customize your license plate number. To do so, simply follow the steps below.

Steps:

First, launch Euro Truck Sim 2 or American Truck Sim then click on your profile

Click "Edit Profile"

Click on "Register now!"

A new window will open in the Steam browser taking you to worldoftrucks.com

Click on "Sign in through Steam" to register your game

Continue the process of creating a World of Trucks account (username, email...etc) and verify your account.

After creating an account, exit both the steam browser and the game and go sign into worldoftrucks.com on your default browser. (you need to exit the game)

After signing in, click on "My Page" then on "Profile Customization"

Scroll down to the game you want to customize your truck in (ets2 or ats)

Select Country or State and "Enter License Plate Text" (9 characters max.) then click "Upload"

You should get this message:

Now launch your game and click on your profile then on "Edit Profile"

Fill in the info using your World of Trucks account details:
1- Account Name or Email
2- Password
then click "Apply"

Your profile is now connected

Start a game and your license plate should be updated.

If you have linked Euro Truck Simulator 2 and want to link American Truck Simulator (or the other way around), simply log into your World of Trucks account and click My Page > Account Options then click on the other game and link it to your Steam account.
