Purchasing the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 will unlock Heavy Cargo Jobs.
These jobs require that you own a strong truck capable of managing the weight of these cargoes.
Once you choose a heavy cargo job, a small window will show up where you can figure out if your truck is optimized for the job by hovering your mouse over "Heavy Cargo".
There are 8 Heavy Cargoes from the dlc:
• Metal Centering (28 Tons);
• Industrial Cable Reel (34 Tons);
• Mobile Crane (36 Tons);
• Dozer Crawl (39 Tons);
• Asphalt Miller (44 Tons);
• Transformer (47 Tons);
• Concrete Beams (51 Tons);
• Locomotive (61 Tons).
In the Freight Market, you can sort the jobs by weight (descending) to find the heavy cargoes quicker:
Or, you can just use the Search Function to look for a specific one.
If you don't find the cargo you're looking for, sleep to fast forward time and check back again.
Tip: Pick the job that has the shortest distance to complete it quickly.
You earn this Achievement by delivering any Heavy Cargo for the first time.
You earn this Achievement by delivering all 8 kinds of Heavy Cargo mentioned above.
If you don't know what heavy cargoes you've already delivered, you can figure that out by doing the following:
On the Pause Menu, click on "Career" then on "Career Progress"
Click "Delivery Log" and use the Search Function to look for every heavy cargo and see if you got any results.
Collect 1,000 XP from parking Heavy Cargoes in their destinations.
If you are an experienced driver, you can complete this Achievement faster by doing skilled parking rather than safe parking when you reach the destination.
If you want to set a default parking difficulty so you don't need to choose every time you reach the destination, the setting is in:
"System" >
"Options" >
"Gameplay" >
"Parking Difficulty".
Complete 3 perfect deliveries (no damage, no fines, in-time) of 3 consecutive Heavy Cargo jobs.
You need to do these 3 jobs consecutively. If you don't find a heavy cargo job, sleep to fast forward time and check the jobs list again, when you choose the job, just fast travel to its city.
Also check our Guide on Fines and Offences for the no fines requirement.
Deliver a total of 250 tons of heavy cargo on 5 consecutive jobs.
Choosing a Heavy Cargo multiple times works, just make sure the total weight of the 5 cargoes is over 250 tons. (Weights above)
