Purchasing the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC in American Truck Simulator will unlock Heavy Cargo Jobs.

These jobs require that you own a strong truck capable of managing the weight of these cargoes.

Once you choose a heavy cargo job, a small window will show up where you can figure out if your truck is optimized for the job by hovering your mouse over "Heavy Cargo".

Heavy Cargoes and Their Weight

There are 9 Heavy Cargoes from the dlc:

• Crawler Tractor (25 Tons)
• Cable Reel (29 Tons)
• All Terrain Crane (35 Tons)
• Scraper (40 Tons)
• Heavy Bulldozer (40 Tons)
• Lift Truck Chassis (42 Tons)
• Milling Machine (43 Tons)
• Lift Truck (53 Tons)
• Transformer (56 Tons)

You can find a cargo quicker by using the Search Function on the Freight Market:

If you don't find the cargo you're looking for, sleep to fast forward time and check back again.

Note: The Transformer that weighs 15 tons is not a heavy cargo, look for the 56 tons one.

Achievements:

"Time for Big Hauling"

You earn this Achievement by delivering any Heavy Cargo for the first time.

"I Thought This Should Be Heavy?!"

You earn this Achievement by delivering all 9 kinds of Heavy Cargo mentioned above.

"Heavy, but Not Bull in a China Shop!"

Complete a perfect delivery (no damage, no fine, in-time) of a heavy cargo with a trip distance of at least 1,000 miles (1610 km)

You need to have 4 skill points on Long Distance to find a job with a trip distance over 1610 km.

And you can still find it without the purchase of any map extension dlc. Just sort the jobs by Route length (descending).

If a heavy cargo job is not available, sleep to fast forward time and check again.

As for the no fines requirement, check our Guide on Fines and Offenses.

"Bigger Cargo, Bigger Profit"

Earn $100,000 on 5 consecutive Heavy Cargo Pack deliveries

You need to do these 5 jobs consecutively. If you don't find a heavy cargo job, sleep to fast forward time and check the jobs list again. When you choose the job, just quick travel to its city and deliver it.

Make sure the total money earned from the 5 jobs is over $100,000.

If you get over $100,000 doing less than 5 jobs, you still need to complete jobs until you reach 5 in total to earn the achievement.

"How Heavy Am I?!"

Use a truck scale or a weight station with gross vehicle weight of at least 175,000 lbs (80 Tons)

Pick the heaviest cargo which is the Transformer at 56 tons with a truck that has a 6x4 long chassis and fill your gas to the max before weighting your truck and you should get the achievement.

You can use a weight station when you're informed to pull over for inspection or a truck scale which you find in some gas stations.
